Explain how the created media components comply with the codes and conventions of the media sectors (M3)

Advert 1 - Spotify Advert:

I have used catchy music to engage the listener as well as clearly spoken words that describe the soap and that it will make them clean. This may make the listener more interested in the soap and may want to purchase it as it is environmentally friendly and the company donates to a charity. Another convention is that the brand name is clearly said in the advert so the listener knows how to find the company. The audio of the ad may make the listener more happy and willing to listen when they hear the uplifting music. The spoken language might pique their interest with key words like "environmentally friendly". I edited the ad so the voiceover doesn't immediately come in and lets the music engage the listener first, then goes on for a second after the voiceover has stopped.

Advert 2 - Social Media Profile:

The conventions that I followed for my profile was to advertise my product all over the account using posts, stories and highlights. The Woodlands Trust Charity and being environmentally friendly are my main USPs which can be seen in the bio, clearly printed which has been encoded so the user reads it immediately. The colour in the posts will be limited but efficient so it engages the user to read.

Advert 3 - Magazine Advert:

My magazine has dimensions that would fit a magazine as well as the brand logo stated on the soap and the product being clearly visible. The colour scheme is limited to a few colours to keep it simple and engage the reader. Flowers have been used to sell the product as it describes the scent. I have encoded the USP by printing it onto the magazine so it can be seen.

Advert 4 - Billboard:

Due to the large size of the billboard I have had to emphasise all of the features however, I have kept the text short so it doesn't take long to read it. I have printed the logo on the soap so it is subtle. It is similar to the magazine and the mis-en-scene is very similar which will encode the need for organic soap into the audience.
